Salmon Egg Rolls with a Flamin’ Hot Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce

Yields 6-8 egg rolls

What you will need:

And for the dip:

  • 3 Tbsp Yellow Mustard
  • 2 Tbsp Honey

Preparation:

  1. Season salmon filet to taste with SS and FCH seasoning blends.
  2. Lightly coat with olive oil and allow it marinate for 1 hour.
  3. Later, air fry for 15-20 minutes on 390 degrees ( depending on size of filet).
  4. Mince cooked salmon into small pieces and set aside.
  5. Lightly coat pan with olive olive and heat on stove on a medium - high setting.
  6. Add chopped vegetables and sauté until opaque.
  7. Fold minced salmon into vegetable mixture.
  8. Lightly season mixture with TT seasoning blend. (Note: this seasoning blend packs a lot of heat. Use carefully according to your comfort level or omit )
  9. Lightly season mixture with MB for added flavor. Set aside.

Now, we're ready to roll:

  1. Place 1 slice of provolone cheese on egg roll wrapper
  2. Next, add 2 tbsp of the salmon/vegetable mixture towards one corner . Follow rolling instructions on package ( or search “Egg Roll Recipes “ on YouTube for a visual. * Combine cornstarch with a cup of water to seal egg rolls.
  3. Heat frying oil to about 350 degrees
  4. Fry egg rolls until golden brown ( Watch them carefully. They can start to burn quickly)
  • *The egg rolls can also be made in the airfryer. Lightly coat egg rolls with an olive oil spray before cooking. Cook time - 6 minutes ( or until golden brown) at 390 degrees.

Lastly…

  1. In a small bowl , combine yellow mustard and honey
  2. Lightly season with FCH and TT seasoning blends and stir until evenly mixed

Serve egg rolls hot and enjoy!
